What Is a MiniSep?
The floating MiniSep is a new and unique floating oil separator that separates the free oil prior to any pumping, eliminating any chance of emulsification.
It is a combination separator, skimmer and
pumping system.
Designed to treat 15 to 50 litres per minute of fluid.
Can be operated either using 240 or 415 volt power.
How Does it Work?
Because oily water never passes through a pump there is no emulsification of product. The MiniSep lets the pit do the separation.
The floating MiniSep draws the surface free oil and water from the interceptor pit via the patented Clarke skimmers, discharging tangentially within the body.
A gentle swirling action concentrates the oil then stores it in the central collection area.
The water is discharged via the water pump, either by recycling back into the pit or alternatively to water re- use facilities.
Continuous or intermittent operation ensures the pit is maintained free of oil.
